My Thoughts on "Timeborne"

Image
Book- Timeborne Author- Sara Samuels     This is what I mean when I say Fantasy book.      This book is a journey to remember. The story is great, the writing, scenes, descriptions, just everything.  I would recommend this book to every fantasy reader who likes to read book series.      Let's start with the story, Our main character "Olivia" is a sweet 10 year old when her mother is killed in front of her eyes by a mysterious man and her life is turned upside down. She grows us learning to protect herself and teaching others to be good at protecting themselves and their loved once. Now at the age of 24 years, she has a loving boyfriend, a mentor who not only has trained her but is also like a father figure, and her father who has somehow managed to survive this horrible thing and keep himself alive.      The story takes a turn when her father tells her that she can time travel, this bomb that just landed in her lap disor...

My Thoughts on "Rules Of Convenience"

Image
Book: Rules Of Convenience Author- H.L. Munn     This is my second book as an ARC reader and boy was it worth it. It has all the plots I like and also the dual pov which I can never get enough of.     Lets starts with the characters first, Amelia who is a project manager, with brown hair and brown eyes, she also has something she's hiding from people around her. While Riley is a lawyer who is 6'2 with a dimple and hazel eyes. These two meet while Amelia is on a date and accidentally bumps into Riley while trying to get to the washroom and they form a unlikely friendship, becoming fast friends also leaves a lot of room for maybe falling for each other.     While we get to enjoy and bask in the sun-kissed romance that slowly buds for these two. The slow burn makes it all oh so interesting and keeps you coming for more after each chapter. The writer has give a lot of references to movies, series and books, which I find very endearing. The interactions a...

Book- Broken Guard Author- Renn Wells                        This is my first book as an ARC reader, so I hope I do this book the justice it deserves and share my insights with the readers.      This is a story of two broken people who come are brought together by pure coincidence. A girl who has a been through something that could break anyone and a bodyguard hired to not only protect her from someone but also from herself. Now the bodyguard is slowly but surely getting to know the girl and understanding her needs and not only helping her but also healing a part of himself, the part of his past which haunts him till this day, and he can not get rid of. This is a story of healing, protection and love which warms your heart as you read further into the book.     The story is fast paced and easy to follow, the characters have life outside of this which not only gives them depth. This depth hel...

My Thoughts on "This Lie Will Kill You"

Image
Book- This Lie Will Kill You Author- Chelsea Pitcher                     Wow, what a rollercoaster of emotions. The twists, turns and the ultimate reveal has left me speechless. So let's get started.                 Our 5 main characters are Juniper Torres, Ruby Valentine, Parker Addison, Brett Carmichael and Gavin Moon. There are a few recurring characters but all those characters are secondary to the story. Our main characters receive invitation to a party for which the card says "You are cordially invited to a night of murder and mayhem!"  which also turns out to be a academic scholarship challenge with murder mystery dinner by "The Ringmaster". But Juniper doesn't remember applying for it so she's a little skeptical about going, but she decides to go because Ruby is going.                Among the group Juniper a...
